About Maria Bonita Steak House

A steak house with grilled cuts and a section of the menu with Lebanese dishes, an unusual mix that works. One of the more formal dinners in town.

What to expect
  • A charcoal and wood grill on Calle 470, 25 metres south of the Catholic church, by the park.
  • Premium cuts: Costa Rican beef, certified Black Angus and lamb.
  • The other half of the menu is Lebanese: the starters are what set this apart from any other grill in town.
  • There are also ceviches and seafood from both coasts, and desserts flambéed at the table.
  • The kitchen is run by chef Javier Esteban Chacón Rojas.
